SOME THOUGHT PROVOKING QUOTATIONS!!!

1> "Expecting the world to treat you fairely because you are a good person is a little like;
expecting the bull not to attack you simply because you are a Vegetarian."

2> "We worry about what our child will be tomorrow;
yet we forget that he is someone today."

3>"There's only one corner of the universe that you can be certain of improving ;
and that is  'YOURSELF'."

4>"LAURELS dont stop, when good work starts speaking for itself."

5> "What has gone by is 'past';
What lies ahead is 'future';

7> A BEAUTIFUL THING TO PONDER UPON................
" Once upon a time there was an island where all the feelings lived together.There was a storm in the sea one day and the island was about to get drowned.Every feeling was scared but EGO wasn't moving...............
Also the water was rising.Every one asked LOVE to leave him and to come into the boat,But 'LOVE WAS MADE TO LOVE'.All feelings escaped n the storm took over the island.....
At last love died because of ego on the island..
MORAL- LOVE DIED BCZ OF EGO.........

Nostalgia Has Its Roots Here(LUCKNOW)!!

"ANDAAZ-E-LUCKNOW" is an experience and just for the record it hasn't changed.A fact that any diehard Lucknowite will endorse with the same zeal as would those who have left the city generations ago.The City of Nawabs instills in us a yearning that is carried on from one generation to another,To the extent that most come back to relive their memories.
Lucknow has always been identified with its rich culture-the mellifluous music,rich poetry,fine cuisine,masterful embroidery,n not to mention its impeccable manners.The city in keeping with its image has moved forward at its own languid pace.The older landmarks, the ones lucknow showcases to the world- the Imambaras,the Roomie Gate,the Bhool Bhulaiya-have been born out of the whims and fancies of the Nawabs who once ruled Awadh.The Bara Imambara was built bcz Nawab Asaf ud-daulah wanted to ensure that his people,ravaged by famine,could get employment at the construction site.But such details are now mere footnotes in history
But inspite of all this the Lucknow of today is the one that"LOVES THE OLD AND EMBRACES THE NEW".where bylanes of Gadbad Jhala do as brisk a buisness as swanky shops in the malls;where elaborate chikankari saris are matched with the fast changing trends in fashion;where kathak steps are in sync with salsa,where kababs tickle the taste buds as strongly as Big Mac burgers.The evenings of this city are equally entrancing as the mornings.Lucknow ki 'kohre bhari subah'-well it brings back the romance of an era bygone.
The euphoria of being in lucknow cannot be duplicated anywhere in the world.As the city moves forward boldly keeping pace with the advancement that is taking place and at the same time drawing strength from its blessings, the only one thing that i can say is that it will always remain very close to my heart n no matter how high i rise in life or  how far away i move move from this place it will always remain my first HOME.
